Apple now gives the owners of Android phones the means to detect AirTags Mouchards within reach of Bluetooth. The new Tracker Detect application makes it possible to ensure that no one runs your movements with these small tags.
Apple has just released a new application on Android. The iPhone manufacturer is not frankly used to offering software on the competing platform to his own, but on December 13, 2021, a new app arrived on the Play Store: Tracker Detect.
This tool allows you, as the description suggests, to "search for the trackers of compatible objects Find My which can be with you".In other words, this is an application that will detect the Airtags around you and alert you if a small tag tracks your trips.
Released at the beginning of 2021, AirTags are small accessories that allow owners of Apple devices to easily find their keys, their wallets or any everyday object to which you would have attached these small connected tags.Theoretically, these tags do not allow us to track down a human being, but in practice, there are means to bypass these limitations.
In an attempt to make criticisms, Apple has released an Android application that allows you to detect the AirTags around you, to make sure that no one has slipped one in your bag to monitor your trips. The application, officially available on the Play Store (even if it does not always appear during a search), has a simple operation.
After downloading and installed the software, you will only have to accept the general conditions of use, authorize the use of Bluetooth, and after a short tutorial, you can launch the scan.Your Android phone will then start looking for the Airtags around you for a short minute.
If no tag is detected, the application will simply inform you.If the app manages to capture the signal by an Airtag, on the other hand, the application will allow you to ring it to detect it and explain to you how to put it out of harm.If the tag is declared as "lost", then Tracker Detect will explain to you how to return it to its owner.
Please note, the application will only detect the tags that are separated from the device that has been used for their configuration. If you are at home, alongside the iPhone of your spouse or roommate, the application of not worrying about the presence of an Airtag, judging that it is used for its legitimate use and not for youhunt down.Only the disconnected beacons of their supervisory iPhone and which follow you during your trips will be listed by the application.
