The quality of service on Togo Cellulaire and Moov Africa Togo networks, the two operators of mobile telephony in Togo, does not comply with the quality obligations set by the regulations.This is the "final" observation drawn up by ARCEP, the regulatory authority for electronic communications and positions following a survey conducted for the year 2021.

In a press release published for this purpose, the regulator indicates that its survey focused on the one hand, on the indicators of the votes services such as vocal quality, the rate of appeal, the rate of appeal success and,,On the other hand, on the indicators of the data services such as the download failure rate, the amount of speed and the downhill flow.

ARCEP, which has become more and more tatillon since 2020 just after the privatization of the historic telecoms operator in November 2019, is not at its first outing against the two operators who have shared the market for several years.It opened in July 2021 a sanction procedure for serious breaches of quality of service obligations against them.

Shortly before, Arcep had also condemned-even amended-Moov Africa Togo and Togo Cellulaire on several subjects including money transfer services, the validity of telephone credits and differentiating practices of intra-network and Inter communications prices-network.
