A wider and brighter screen

Xiaomi had already enlarged the screen of the Mi Smart Band 5 compared to the older generation — from 0.94 inches to 1.1 inches. For its new model, the brand sees even bigger and offers a 1.56 inch AMOLED screen. This gain makes it possible to obtain a better definition (152 x 486 pixels against 126 x 294 pixels) but also a sharper display quality, whatever the situation, as well as three levels of brightness. However, we cannot rely on an ambient light sensor. Regarding the design, we are entitled to a discreet oval format with an interchangeable silicone strap.

Now with a larger screen, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 will be able to display notifications from your phone. Be aware, however, that only the consultation of notifications is offered, you will not be able to answer your messages and emails from your wrist. It offers other features: the bracelet will vibrate if you set an alarm clock or you are called, it will display the weather, the time or allow you to control the music on your phone.

Perfect for keeping an eye on your health

Like any good connected bracelet, the Mi Smart Band 6 is no exception and offers complete and convincing activity monitoring. It has an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a heart rate monitor that analyzes your heart rate. For the first time, Xiaomi integrates a blood oxygenation sensor, an Sp02, but unfortunately during our test we found that it is not very well exploited. Apart from that, the bracelet can measure daily step count, calories burned, stress analysis, sleep tracking, and supports 30 sports activities – 6 of which are recognized automatically.

This Mi Smart Band 6 will be able to accompany you on a daily basis thanks to its autonomy, capable of holding up to 8 days without the Sp02 activated, and up to 14 days in standby mode. As for recharging, it will take about 1h30 to fill the battery. Note also that this model has a magnetic charging system and can withstand water up to 50 meters.
