Linked to the Xplora application, it distributes rewards, badges and Xcoins to access digital content and consumer goods. It has a plastic look that gives a hollow feeling when you press on it. With IP68 certification, it is waterproof up to 1.5 m and can therefore be worn while swimming. Moreover, there is also the swimming mode in its menu.
It sports a basic 1.3-inch 240 x 240 pixel LCD screen. The readability is good except in direct sunlight. You will also see a small dial on the right side of your screen. It is used to turn on the watch. A long press giving you access to four types of dials allows you to personalize your screen.
As for the strap of the watch, it is made of silicone and is functional. Its numerous adjustment holes allow it to fit both the wrist of an adult and that of a child. In addition, it has two retaining loops to store any additional straps.
This Xplora watch stands out with its refined and elegant style resembling an Apple Watch. It comes in four colors: black, petrol, gray and pink. So, it will go for both men and women. On top of that, the Xplora XMOVE is quickly forgotten when attached to your wrist.
Entering a simple QR code allows you to connect it to your Android smartphone. To do this, create an account on your phone by downloading the Xplora app. After creating your account, display the QR code by swiping left and then down. Now scan the displayed QR code and voila, you are done pairing.

The Xplora XMOVE analyzes the quality of your sleep, your heart rate, your oximetry, counts your steps and calories burned… This watch reminds you to get out of bed, drink more water, move your body… to help you optimize your health. In short, this device helps you to have a healthier lifestyle.
The Xplora XMOVE gives you rewards. Indeed, it counts your steps and converts them into points that can be converted into gifts. The Xplora rewards you with unique coins that you can use exclusively on the GoPlay platform. The reward system doesn't mean much to an adult. Children, however, appreciate badges, virtual coins and other fun tools.
This platform is a partner of Sony PlayStation, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros and Fox. However, GoPlay was not available via the application during our test, but accessible online.
As well as nudging you to exercise, this watch also manages incoming notifications from your iOS or Android smartphone and camera. It stores all your daily activity data in a dedicated app. For added convenience, this Bluetooth BLE activity tracker also doubles as an alarm clock, stopwatch, and timer.
XMOVE uses estimation algorithms. However, they are not very precise. We ran exactly 10km and she only logged 8.7km. This watch does not offer a mechanism to calibrate its algorithms. However, most mid- to high-end connected watches offer them.
We also noticed a problem with reactivity. With its "wrist-up wake-up screen", the Xplora XMOVE is supposed to light up every time you lift your wrist. However, this does not work all the time. It does not light up especially when you raise your arm while lying down.
It also takes exactly one and a half seconds to turn on. Which can seem like a long time when you want to check the time or when you're on the run.
We also had to take several times to wake up the watch by tapping on its screen. However, once the screen is on, the watch works fine without too much lag.
The Xplora XMOVE is equipped with a 160 mAh battery. According to its manufacturers, it can last up to ten days on standby or five days in normal use. This was confirmed during our tests. The watch lasted for four long runs in an entire week without needing to be recharged. This is probably due to the fact that the battery does not power a GPS, does not support a high resolution screen or a SIM card.
However, we did not like the very inexpensive proprietary USB charging cradle that came with this watch. This magnetically attaches to the XMOVE and the latter cannot be recharged without this element. Since it is a device for family use, the risks of losing this base are very high.

This connected watch synchronizes with a telephone application thanks to pairing via Bluetooth. Setup is similar to scanning a QR code displayed on the device screen. You will then need to set up the main guardian account.
Every device needs a profile and you will end up with a profile as well as a guardian account. Which can be confusing for more than one user.
Once your watch is set up, it can display incoming messages from your social networks and messaging apps. It vibrates gently when receiving a call. Getting notifications right on your wrist is convenient when you're indulging in your daily sports activity. And this, even if the text is exceptionally small.
This connected watch is an activity tracker designed to be used by all members of the family. It includes a reward system to optimize the monitoring of the user's physical condition and sports activities. That said, its operation is quite basic and the quality of its construction leaves something to be desired. IP68 certified, it can be used in all situations.
Light, comfortable and stylish, it offers excellent value for money. This connected watch is certainly not the best or the most accurate way to track an activity. However, it is probably the most fun and affordable way to do this monitoring.

Setup: This watch gives gifts in exchange for your steps and tracks your fitness while receiving notifications. The application should however be simplified, dials and activities should be added.
Battery life: The 160 mAh battery lasts for days after charging. Its endurance is optimized by the absence of the pressure of a GPS, a SIM card or a high resolution screen.
Value for Money: The Xplora XMOVE looks quite flimsy, but it's water resistant and well-designed for its price.
