• Where can I find my PUK code?

If you are an Orange subscriber, log into your customer account then go to Manage and troubleshoot -> Emergencies and trouble shooting -> Blocked SIM card -> Get my PUK code. You can also find it by contacting the voice server on 0 800 100 740. Enter the phone number you want to unblock, select Get PUK code. You are then asked for your confidential code, 4 digits indicated on your invoice. Your PUK code is communicated to you, all you have to do is unlock your smartphone with it.

This code is also on the Orange app, from another phone. Identify yourself with your Orange identifiers then follow the same procedure to obtain it.

If you subscribe to Bouygues Télécom, the process is almost identical. Log on to your customer account on www.bouygues.fr, then My mobile -> Emergencies and troubleshooting -> in the Emergencies block, click on Manage my SIM card then on PUK code. You can unlock your mobile. Note that if you contact customer service by phone or if you go to the store, you will be charged €7.50 for this service! Go through the website or the mobile application...

At SFR, also log in to your account on the operator's website or application. Click on Emergencies and troubleshooting -> Unblock my SIM card (PUK code). The code is displayed, write it down. Enter it on your smartphone to unlock it. Via the application, go to Assistance -> Emergencies and troubleshooting.

You can also get it by dialing 06 1000 1963 (landline) or 963 from another SFR mobile. You will need your 4-digit personal code. Then do 1, then 1 again, and type #. Enter your phone number and follow the prompts.

Are you a Free subscriber? Log in to your customer account, go to the My information section then My PUK code. Select Click here to get your PUK code. It will automatically be emailed to you.

Once your PUK code has been retrieved, enter it to unlock your SIM card and choose a new PIN code between 4 and 8 digits. Confirm this new sesame a 2nd time.
