SFR has increased the price of your package? It's time to go to Bouygues... or vice versa! SFR RED and B&You have extended their enticing promotions until this evening. For both, the 20 GB mobile plan is €5/month and the 60 GB plan is €8/month.

These rates are valid even after the first year of subscription, but we know how it works, after two or three years the operators impose small monthly increases in exchange for more data — we are then free to leave if we wish.

The SIM card costs €10 for both. Bouygues stands out for the greater quantity of data in Europe and the overseas departments, as well as the two months of Spotify Premium offered. For its part, SFR RED can claim the availability of the eSIM for iPhone from the order as well as the availability of a plan for cellular Apple Watch (€5/month).

Sosh has just reacted to these promotions by offering until May 31 a 40 GB offer at €11.99/month and another of 100 GB at €14.99/month. It is therefore less aggressive in terms of tariffs, but the operator surely hopes to make a difference with the quality of its network. As for Free Mobile, it is a 90 GB package at €9.99/month for one year only (then automatic switch to the 5G 150 GB package at €19.99/month) which is introduced into the battle.

Do you think it is possible to subscribe to this B&You offer while already being at B&You?

alastorne |

@chrisfrank

Unfortunately not. It's annoying, but the commercial policy of the operators is intangible. Red carpet to capture the customer, and if not, you have to cancel...

R-APPLE-R |

@alastorne

Wouldn't that be a business deal?

TrollMan06 |

@R-APPLE-R

On 100%

pga78 |

@chrisfrank

You go to SFR RED then come back … on this the promo may be over 🤣🤣🤣

frascorpion |

@pga78

Yeah but pay twice the sim card 10€ 🤔

noooty |

@chrisfrank

You leave B&Y, and you open a new number.

TrollMan06 |

@noooty

Do you honestly think he didn't think of that?

feutus |

The link to the Sosh promo does not work :)

Stéphane Moussie |@feutus: don't you have an ad blocker? It works without. feutus |

@feutus@stephmouss Indeed, Adguard was blocking this link (not the others). First time I've noticed this on Clubigen.fr!

Fortunately I subscribed, otherwise it would have been bad haha ;)

TrollMan06 |

SFR and B&You extend their 20 GB to €5, timid responses from Sosh and Free | iGeneration

@feutus

It happens to me from time to time too. I wonder if it's because the links are affiliate

Liena1 |

Take the opportunity to go to sosh…The network: nothing to do… 🎉

elesse |

Or at Sim+ with the Orange network: 5€ 20GB and no restrictions noted;)

Felixba |

@elesse

Thank you for this info, I'll take a look at it because since El tel switched to Bouygues I no longer have a 3G/4G network...

elesse |

@Felixba

Yes, it's really good. 😊

shaba |

@elesse

If you want to change network, is the request taken into account immediately or is there a processing time? THANKS !

elesse |

@shaba

No idea but customer service is easily reachable

shaba |

Okay thank you

Mirdyn |

@elesse

I just subscribed to their €5 offer! I had 80giga at sosh but that was before I had 8gbit laFibre at home 😅 (I'm 7 years old at 2mbit max in ADSL at the end of the line... so the phone was smoking in connection sharing!).

I hope this operator is good. Are we on the orange network from the start or do we have to ask to go there? When I was at Crédit Mutuel Mobile I could choose my operator. Is it the same lease?

kitetrip |

+1I tried B&You I stayed a few months before returning to Sosh. with Sosh displays better throughput than the 4G modem with B&You!

dams229 |

@Liena1

The network maybe, but customer service sucks. In Bordeaux the Bouygues network is largely as good anyway (and I was at Orange / Sosh for years)

Linka1 |

@dams229

Afterwards, everyone's experiences make us prefer one operator over another 🧐 In my case, being on a network that makes my iphone just an object on my desk with no other use changes a lot of things in terms of pricing. Far be it from me to denigrate, as the network depends on the local realities of each person. 😃

philipponna |

Sosh it's good 👍🏼

adrien1987 |

Tired of waiting for Sosh for 5G, I subscribed to Prixtel which offers 5G on the Orange network, all without speed/coverage restrictions because it is an MVNO Light.

LaurentR |

@adrien1987

What is a light MVNO?

zoubi2 |

@LaurentR

"What is a light MVNO?"

It's a not too heavy MVNO.

Marco31 |

@zoubi2

Laughing 😂 Thank you for this moment…

adrien1987 |

@LaurentR

The "full MVNOs" such as Auchan Télécom, Réglo Mobile, NRJ, CIC etc. manage the network they have, the flanges if necessary. The "MVNO Light" like Prixtel, La Poste mobile, are content to use the network of the incumbent operator and that's it.

Insomnia |

@adrien1987

So we will have to prove it, my wife has been with nrj mobile for quite some time and there is no restriction, the only fault is that today she is on the Bouygues network following its takeover and the end of the orange network. And just for information, clamping is prohibited by Arcep so we will have to prove it.

adrien1987 |

@Insomnia

Having Bouygues is equivalent to having Orange restrained ^^

TrollMan06 |

@adrien1987

Has your life changed?

adrien1987 |

@TrollMan06

Beyond your username, what are you accusing me of, on a tech-savvy site, for sharing the info that we can get Orange 5G via this operator?

Mactot49 |

Damn stuffing their promo nicks. My wife and son are B&Y and the plan is automatically increased. You must unsubscribe to decline the offer. And as luck would have it, the "decline the offer" button never leads to a clear refusal, but you have to go through all the application's submenus to finally find the place to click. They will both leave for B&Y because of these practices which border on theft. Can we imagine an average trader operating in this way to increase his selling price?

browser |

they don't have shy answers from sosh or Freecar with sfr they have a price after 6 months they have another price

Malvik2 |

Without wanting to promote Free...desperate to see fiber coming to my house in 2024, I tried their 4g/5G 150go packages in fair use which can pass, with a free box at.. .everything unlimited. Obviously I was skeptical, and I smelled the blow of the clamping towards 200 or 300go, but it is not so!! I have almost 3TB of data downloaded in a few days, with a loss close to 150mbts per second!

Honestly, I don't understand why this offer isn't promoted more than that, because Free has done something quite revolutionary: in connection sharing, you end up with the equivalent of a small fiber home, which can greatly help keep people waiting, and all in 100% unlimited data, all for €15.99 per month! Thank you very much to them, because SOSH Sfr and others have been doing it for us upside down for years with completely obsolete fair use, especially with 5G coming...

adrien1987 |

@Malvik2

Yes, I had that too while waiting for the fiber and it helped out quite a bit. Free is at the top on this kind of thing! The 4G Free network is really excellent.

Malvik2 |

@adrien1987

Yes frankly it helps a lot to wait for the arrival of the fiber at home, congratulations to them because they are really the only ones to do that

Fennec72 |

At free when you also have a freebox subscription, the data is unlimited (https://mobile.free.fr/assistance/640.html) and the 5G plan at €19.99/month goes to €9.99.

LaurentR |

@Fennec72

€9.99 for Freebox Pop subscribers. For others, it's €15.99.

frascorpion |

I was at b&you for 10€ for 30go per month then force myself to 13€ for 60go per month and now they are lowering the prices 🤬So I went to RED 5€ for 20go per month (enough and not a big Data consumer) and will see later…

PS: I feel like a ping pong ball 😅😂

rolmeyer |

@frascorpion

Same for my son…but the increased offer from B&You was below everything the market was offering 2 months ago. From 20 GB/5 euros I went to 40/8 euros. I kept, because under 10 euros, it's never more than 5 GB at one of the 3 big ones. (except today's promo 60/8 euros, but hey, we don't know how long it will stay at this price) So I keep but if they make a second increase I cancel.

Darlito |

@frascorpion

Be careful because two years ago I subscribed to a subscription of €5 per me for 30 GB but for some months now I have had to pay €8 per me for 80 GB which is way too much for me

frascorpion |

@Darlito

Yes, but it will still be cheaper than €13 😉And I'll be the ping pong ball (make it portable B&youRED 😅)

marciton |

I'm switching from Sosh to SFR... but not with a good heart... I need an esim and to keep my number and a minimum of data that I use for 3 or 4 weeks per year. I had a very bad experience at SFR which charges for roaming when there is none (an old bug) ... and honestly as soon as Sosh does another promo for less than 10€ I go back to them (there I did a year at 5, one at 9, one at 11.xx and there he wanted to go to 15 but by removing Switzerland... so might as well go to 5€)

LaurentR |

There's also Sim+ with 20 go for €5 until tonight: https://simplus.fr/sim-evasion/

mateodu13 |

If you are a Freebox Pop customer = FreeMobile 5G plan with unlimited data at €9.99/month.

frascorpion |

@mateodu13

Yes, I had seen that. Too bad no internal hard drive in the box server for torrents like V6

PahraDeHaske |

Thanks for the info, I just dropped an unreachable Sosh for SFRI hope I don't regret it too much...

themasck |

switched from sfr to b&you because there is visual voicemail in the offer
