Are you tired of sorting your scans?The Readdle ""scanner pro"" application now automatically classifies your documents in smart categories.The app will allocate one of the 11 labels available to each file: invoice, partition, identity paper, book ... We can then sort all of this by categories, which can be practical to find your way when the scans s'accumulate.

The idea works pretty well, the application rarely gets rushing down brushes and it is in any case easy to choose another category.For Readdle, this novelty marks a first step towards new features.The company considers for example a function to automatically name a document, or to offer the user the most interesting information of certain files.

Pro scanner weighs 195.8 MB and requires at least iOS or iPados 11.2.A subscription to € 21.99 per year is available to unlock certain additional functions (OCR, password protection, etc.)).

Hello, would you say that it is a rudimentary EDM?

@Frankm

In free version you mean?

And with the recognition of characteristics+the tags, I would say that the sorting function will quickly be sherlocked on Mac/iOS: p

Personally, I switched to a pro scanner note mainly for the greater weight of PDF in notes.I don't know if it's now better optimized...

You can also scan directly in the file app

Excellent application that I use on a daily basis.Regarding this automatic sorting, the idea is good.However, we cannot create, to my knowledge, new categories.Which greatly limits the usefulness of this function.

@Rondex

Ah here I have my answer: I use a lot of personalized categories / tags (personally family work professional family etc.)).Damn.

I have had this application for a long time.At the time I had it for free with a promo code and I now keep the functions of the subscription.Just like Readdle's PDF.

@Tech

Me too, I did not even know that this OCR function was present in the version obtained for free a few years ago 🎉

And synchronization with box is a real plus, lacks more than iCloud Drive 👍

RonDex |

@Smoky

Scans are automatically saved on iCloud.You can even create synchros to automatically back up scans on a NAS or server via webdav.Too bad we can't do it with ftps.

Bonjourest what Spotlight iOS can do a research within thousands of PDF OCR? I have never found this option within iOS. Depuis iOS 15, dans l’application « fichiers », je ne sais pas à quoi correspond le petit symbole d’une loupe sur une feuille ( qui apparaît en haut à gauche juste sous la barre de recherche)) lorsqu’on tape quelques caractères.On Mac OS Research within PDF OCR is super effective but I am always looking for the possibility of doing it on iOS ... Thank you

I have this application since 2015 😀 Always the reference 😉
