The OnLeaks leaker believes it knows the prices and release date of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE for the French market. Hint: you just have to wait a few days to order it.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is one of the most anticipated smartphones for early 2022, after months of speculation about it. This Fan Edition version experienced a roller coaster: there was talk of an outright cancellation, or more simply of a series of delays induced by the shortage of components.

See you at the beginning of January

The fact is that the Galaxy S21 FE will indeed be released in France in the first days of the next vintage. This is what the leaker OnLeaks, known for its reliability and the source of many credible leaks, believes to know. The interested party published a twitter message in which he mentions the release date of the phone and its prices, concerning France.

According to one of its sources, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be available in our country from January 4, 2021. It is also on this date that the official announcement is anticipated, according to several rumors. But beware: according to another reliable source from OnLeaks, the phone should go on sale on January 11 instead.

There is some confusion here between the pre-order date and the on-sale date.

The Twitter message finally mentions the French prices: 759 euros in the 128 GB storage configuration, compared to 829 euros for the 256 GB version. These are exactly the same prices as the 5G-compatible Galaxy S20 FE last year. The 4G iterations, on the other hand, cost less, at 659 and 729 euros.

Cdiscount adds a layer

To add a layer, Cdiscount has for its part published its sales offers relating to the Galaxy S21 FE. The e-commerce site mentions a price of 729 euros for the smallest configuration, and opts for a price of 799 euros for the other model. There is therefore a difference of several tens of euros. Nevertheless, Auchan has also put the S21 FE page online, with the same prices as those indicated by OnLeaks.

The offer page also mentions Corning Gorilla Glass 7 protective glass, a 4500 mAh battery, a 6.4-inch screen diagonal and an operating system powered by Android 12. An indication " In stock on January 4, 2022 " also appears on the screen, which would confirm the availability of the phone on this date, at least for pre-order.

As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should offer a premium phone experience while making a few small concessions to bring its price down. It is at the photo level that compromises could take place, in particular by removing the 64-megapixel sensor and the 8K mode for video.
