How do I set up an Amazon Ring alarm?

Once your Amazon Ring alarm has been received, and after unpacking the various elements, it is imperative to rely on the dedicated application (to be downloaded on your mobile). It is indeed this Ring application that will guide you step by step, giving you in particular the order of the modules to activate and how to proceed. The way the different devices communicate is quite simple. First of all, there is the base, which acts as the heart of the system and on which the modules are connected. There is also a keyboard, which is very practical for controlling and setting up the modules in any room. These two elements will control the contact sensors (magnetic), which are to be placed on the doors and windows, as well as the motion detectors. It is then up to you to determine when and how the alarm reacts in the event of an opening or motion detection. You will also find a range extender because the base and the sensors do not go through a Wi-Fi connection but through a secure mesh network called Z-Wave Plus.
