Japanese cartoon, Princess Sarah is one of the cult productions of the 1990s, including Dragon Ball Z, Olive and Tom, Sailor Moon or Theo or the victory bat. We are however here on a much more dramatic register, the story following the misfortunes of the young Sarah, in boarding school in England. The anime is a very successful adaptation of the novel The Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

This is where trouble begins for the kind Sarah: already deprived of her mother, who died when she was 4 years old, her father dies abroad, making the child a ruined orphan. Under the pretext of kindness, Miss Mangin makes her her servant and tyrannizes her throughout the series...
