With the Covid, we finally realize in France that our entrepreneurs have a tremendous capacity for resistance, and above all for resilience. It is it that allows them to bounce back, to adapt, to continue to project themselves into even an uncertain future.
Entrepreneurs have always been taking risks, going through difficulties, overcoming obstacles. They know the value of work, optimism, anticipation and know that it is essential not to stigmatize failure... What is changing is the universal dimension of the crisis and the difficulties, and it is that today everyone has to get on with it. More than ever, we must make the rebound a major economic value!
The current situation will certainly provoke entrepreneurial tragedies as companies wind up and burn-out to come. While these tragic events are expected, with a very high impact and a likely spillover effect on other parts of the economy and society, they must not make us forget one essential fact: every crisis is also a moment of construction and reinvention.
From coercion always comes out positive things. Capitalizing on them is fundamental to building the future-going through crises and rebuilding. Our entrepreneurs must be supported in order to continue to think and develop their creative capacities, to preserve their physical and psychological resources in order to devote a lot of their energy and their initiatives, but above all, they must continue to believe in them, they must remain convinced of their ability to overcome the new!
It is clear that the movement has begun. The current period is proving to be a time of strong entrepreneurial creativity, in terms of business models, sales strategies, logistics networks, implementation of telework, etc. Entrepreneurs show ingenuity and a wealth of ideas. Magnificent solidarity has also emerged from this unprecedented crisis. Over and above the divisions that TV news has got us through, the entrepreneurs have shown their will to form a body, to help each other, to hold together, to stick together.
We have seen platforms like Oh my Band and Act for Entrepreneurs set up as early as April 2020 to offer exchanges of missions and jobs between entrepreneurs. We have seen merchants welcoming each other, large distributors creating spaces for small local traders. Production lines have been adapted to produce products that are different from those for which they were designed. We have seen artists get involved in live shows "at home". While it is not a panacea, it remains a wonderful expression of their creativity and their willingness not to let themselves be overwhelmed.
The entrepreneurial associations have all mobilized their volunteers to help entrepreneurs decrypt public schemes, set up their rebound projects, find the right relays around them and stay on track.
Finally, the crisis confirms the value created by the rebound of entrepreneurs. In addition to public subsidies and subsidies, they need their economic and political ecosystems to trust them and to lift reservations or restrictions that have been imposed because of previous failures. They need to feel the confidence they have in their ability to bounce, the support given to their efforts, regardless of how uncertain their results might be.
Therefore, more than ever before, there must be guarantees of openness and a change of perspective on failure. This is a fundamental condition for their rebound to be fully expressed and generate economic growth for the benefit of as many. That is why our two associations today call on all entrepreneurs to continue their efforts, and all those around them-close entourage, economic and financial partners, administration, state-to support and encourage them.
So yes, this unprecedented and very harsh health crisis has helped to further develop the resilience and resilience of entrepreneurs. There will be a before and after, but the skills have surely diversified, expanded, strengthened!
