Galaxy S21 FE: a lighter Fan Edition version of the classic S21

Like its predecessor, the Galaxy S20 FE, the S21 FE is a slimmed down version of the classic model. Concretely, Samsung keeps the essentials on its new mobile and relieves it of the “superfluous”. Thus, the S21 FE is made of plastic (against aluminum for the S21). In terms of colors, the S21 FE sports bright colors such as Olive Green or Lavender. There are also matte black and white colors. On the photo side, there are very few changes between the S21 and the S21 FE. The new Samsung smartphone is thus equipped with a triple photo sensor consisting of a main sensor of 12 megapixels with wide-angle optics (f / 1.8), another of 8 megapixels with a telephoto lens (equivalent 26 mm , f / 2.4, 3x zoom) and a third 12 megapixel with an ultra wide-angle (f / 2.2). On the front, there is a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 optics.

Technical specifications of the Galaxy S21 FE

Importantly, the S21 FE is the brand's first smartphone to run One UI 4 (Android 12). This is a serious asset for this Fan Edition version. For the rest, there is a 6.4-inch screen (compared to 6.2 inches for the S21) full HD + and with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass and is IP68 certified.

The Galaxy S21 FE is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 associated with 6 GB of RAM. As for autonomy, it is ensured by a 4500 mAh battery and 25 W wired and 15 W wireless charging.
