Disney+ is launching a completely new special offer from November 8, 2021: for almost a week, the subscription to its video on demand (SVOD) platform streaming will only cost 1.99 euros instead of 8.99 euros.

To take advantage of it, simply go to the Disney+ home page and click on “Sign up”.

This period is not chosen at random: November 12 is “Disney Day”, the day of the two-year anniversary of the SVOD platform of the multinational Mickey Mouse. On November 12, 2019, Disney+ was indeed launched in five countries, including the United States, in an ecosystem dominated by Netflix. Two years later, the service has over 116 million subscribers worldwide.

The initiative is also clever, as it attracts new subscribers just over a month before the Christmas holiday period, when Internet users traditionally want to turn to films cults like Disney, Pixar and other Star Wars. Those who test the subscription for less than 2 euros will therefore have to recommit to 8.99 euros if they want to continue to have Disney+ after December 15, 2021.

This promotion is all the more interesting since Disney no longer offers a 7-day free trial period to Disney+ since June 2020.

In France, the offer is valid from November 8, 2021 at 8:01 a.m. to November 15, 2021 at 7:59 a.m. .

What happens after this first month at 1.99 euros?

If you subscribe during the period from November 8 to 15, 2021, you will therefore have access to the entire Disney+ catalog , plus the Star section dedicated to more adult content, for less than 2 euros.

You should then be careful: there will be an automatic renewal after one month of use, and the subscription will then drop to 8.99 euros per month. What to watch on Disney+?

At first rather shy, the Disney+ catalog ended up being quite substantial, with in particular some very good series to watch and watch again. Remember that the platform offers many universes related to its franchises: Pixar, Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, plus all the series and films in the Star section, which come from channels like ABC or FOX in the United States.
