Un nouveau rappel de quasiment tous les modèles Audi (la liste est longue : de l’A3 au Q8 en passant par l’etron GT) a lieu aux États-Unis, confirmé par la NHTSA. Il concerne un problème d’affichage de l’image issue de la caméra de recul lorsque la marche arrière est enclenchée. Ce problème est apparemment assez répandu sur la gamme actuelle suite à une bug logiciel.

This big American reminder concerns security during reverse.According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Audi will recall in concession the Audi cars manufactured before October 16, 2021: A3 sedan, S3 sedan, A4 sedan, A5 Sportback, S5 Sportback, RS 6 BC, A8, S8, E-Tron GT, Q3, Q5, Q5 Sportback, Q7, SQ7, Q8, SQ8, RS Q8.

The defect is located in the MMI software managing the view of the camera view during reverse.The display can be done after too long, caused by various processes in progress.Cars made after October 16, 2021 are not affected because they received a new version of the software.

In the United States, 2,857 models are affected by the recall "91cr".On the other hand in the world and in particular in Europe, this recall may take place with a larger number of affected cars.

The impacted owners will be contacted directly by Audi in order to switch to the concession in order to update the parameters of the infotainment unit after inspection unit free of charge.The recall is scheduled for the end of the year for an application in early 2022.
