- Venom: let there be carnage

Once upon a time, in 1996… young Cletus Kasady watches helplessly as his love, Frances Barrison, is transferred from the Saint-Estes Home for Unwanted Children to the Ravencroft Institute. He shoots Barrison in the right eye, causing him to fall from the truck and suffer an ear injury from the scream. In the present day, Mulligan, now a detective, contacts Eddie Brock to speak to Kasady, a serial killer who refuses to speak to anyone but Eddie.
