Bruno Lassalle, his real name, was born on September 23, 1964 in Paris.His surname "Solo" is inspired by the eponymous character of Star Wars, Han Solo, the bonus hunter, a bit dandy, embodied by Harrison Ford.

After a career in musical journalism, Bruno Solo made his debut in 1991 as a host on Canal + in the program of the Top 50, which he presents with Yvan Le Bolloc'h, met when the latter chosen Bruno in the public duringThe Zebra TV show.Very quickly the two men become friends and no longer leave each other.After a similar passage on TF1, he decides to definitively embrace the acting profession.
