Using your Apple Watch Series 7 with a previous generation charger will not take advantage of fast charging, that's a fact, but it could even charge slower.

There is no reason, a priori, to deprive yourself of the use of the new roller compatible with fast charging and that Apple provides with all Series 7. But we can continue to use a more practical support because equipped with the necessary to also fill his iPhone and AirPods. There are plenty of them and Apple has its own with the MagSafe dual charger.

This base, compact and practical by its foldable side, cannot offer fast charging, it is recognized by Apple. It can be argued that the battery of the S7 is larger than those of previous generations and therefore takes longer to fill. But the differences between these parts in the last generations are very insignificant.
